Camera Scavenger Hunt: How Well Do You Know Your Camera?
I remember when I purchased my very first DSLR camera. I basically ran home and ripped it out of the box! I was so intrigued by all of it: the beautiful shape, the sleek design, the dials…the many, many dials. There are so many, and let’s be real here, they aren’t exactly labeled in a way that is very intuitive. But these many dials and buttons serve a purpose! Do you know what those purposes are?
How familiar are you with your camera? Knowing how to adjust your settings is vital to using your camera to its full potential! As boring as it sounds to read the manual for that beautiful piece of equipment, it really is important. That being said, go grab your manual…yes, right now, and let’s do a quick check of how well you know that camera of yours!
Can you find this setting on your camera and adjust it?
The focal length of your lens
Manual/Auto focus setting on your lens
File recording type
Camera shooting mode
In-camera light meter
